I wonder...

(hey what the heck, we'll make it a show and tell too!)

I wonder if all aspiring authors have to stop writing mid chapter to chase their escaped dog up and down the snowy street in their pajamas?

For show and tell, I give you Charlotte... the guilty party.

Here is a picture of her tuckered out from her great run up and down, and back and forth, and across, and in figure eights in my neighborhood.

And here she is telling me what she thinks of my writing...Such a critic!

  1. Oh my goodness! I totally pictured you running around in your pajamas in the snow. Hopefully you didn't have to chase her too long before you caught her!

  3. This made me smile...and think of "Big T", who we enjoyed almost 14 years with as our loyal, unconditional love giving, deer-chasing, donut-stealing, foot-warming, 90 lbs of retriever-newfy mix. Love & miss you, buddy.

  4. Charlotte is so adorable-and looks SO guilty! :) Whenever I try to do anything important, my puppy is awfully mischievous.

  6. Charlotte would get along wonderfully with our dog Jack. He likes to escape and romp through the neighborhood too. Good thing she is so cute...LOL.

  7. Charlotte could be my dogs sister. He was a free puppy in the paper over 13 years ago. He has been the best dog ever and definitly has his naughty side.

  9. How cute- they sure know how to get us going hwen they think we have not paid them enough attention! My golden retriever Bella will take a piece of my quilt I am working on and run into the backyard with it so I will begin a game of chase!! :)

  10. Oh what a cutie! Dogs are so fantastic, and look at that tongue. If you fancy a bit of silliness, put her on dogster. It's fun and daft as well. Onto more serious things, my dogs have been so wonderful. They gave me a reason for carrying on breathing.

  11. I'm convinced that dogs are angels that are put in our worlds to give us perspective. Even when it is that we have to run around in slippers in the snow trying to catch them because they broke a metal latch which allowed them out of the gate in their eager attempt to catch the mail truck. (speaking from experience) because...in that moment of frenzy....we are in the NOW. and...in the NOW...everything just IS as it is. . .and the pain isn't in the front of our brains....just the frenzy. ((HUG)) Charlotte is a beauty sweet friend. Hold her close.

  12. She is such a cute dog. Pets in general always help. They seem to know when we need a break.
