36 Weeks Today

I am 36 weeks along today.

Almost there...
Almost there...

Dear God, universe, etc. - please bring these babies to us healthy and whole and happy. Please keep them that way so we can watch them grow and learn and love. Please allow us to be what we have striven to be for the last 4 years - a normal, healthy family.  

Both excitement and anxiety are running high, and also, in a very strange way, being this close to delivery feels surreal. That's something I can't quite figure out, since we have been trying to bring home healthy babies since first getting pregnant in 2007, but surreal is the only word I could put to adequately describe this feeling.

    I know what your saying. . . it is surreal. You doubt yourself, the world, everything. But then, one day. . . the baby arrives (or in your case, babies) and it will be surreal, but in a new and wonderful way. Hang in there mama!

    Yay! Congrats Kristin! You (and your snowflakes) look beautiful, just glowing! I love how you are looking down at your belly in some of the pictures. So happy for you! 36 weeks, what a huge milestone! You are so close! You can do this. I know how bittersweet this is, but I really believe that their birthday is going to be a very happy day!
